Coco, the blue Ellie shoes are adorable & would make my year if I was able to win them. My family has had a rough year & I adore shoes, but am not financially able to satisfy my obsession. My husbands mother just passed from an aggressive form of cancer 18 months from diagnosis to passing). We had to move from our home which was foreclosed on bc my husband lost his job with the family business bc we were her primary caretakers. We lost everything in a matter of one month. His grandmother talked her way into our foreclosed home & sold everything we owned, including our 10 year olds clothes, toys, everything. We literally moved to New Orleans with the small bag we packed & that’s it. We moved here to both take care of his mom & now must care for his ailing 80 year old father. I have a condition known as fibromyalgia & am in pain 24/7. My husband is a former Marine & in 11 years was deployed 8 times. We have no benefits, insurance, nothing & the economy is still suffering. He’s been unemployed for a little over a year bc of being the caretaker, & now is either overqualified or doesn’t have a college degree for the job. I look up to you as an empowering woman that helps other women feel beautiful about themselves & loving their bodies. I’ve had a difficult time w that & you’ve helped so much in that dept for me. Sorry I’ve poured out my heart, but I have no one to talk to. Just getting a pair of shoes would make my year. I don’t ask for much, just that my little girl is happy, healthy & that my husband gets the help he needs. I put myself last to ensure these things. I Like the BeBe’s. I am big fan of them. I also feel your struggles with shoe size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill be damned if I cant find a pair that fits just right. most Im a 6, some a 7. When I finally found a perfect pair I wore them on NYE. I was so excited, they were gorg!!!!! UNTIL, the heel got stuck in the bar owners broken cobblestone floor and I broke my foot so bad I had to have surgery! I have pins in screws that will remain in my foot the rest of my life =( I am looking forward to wearing heels again!!! I am a huge shoe whore. hehehe……I tried to wear a pair of my designer shoes on a FIRST date even tho I wasn’t supposed to; and my foot gave out I ended up not only ruining those new shoes but I embarrassed myself in front of 4 lanes of traffic all stopped at a red light, AND my date. Guess from now on I’ll follow Doctors orders!
